The valve permits free flow in one direction while blocking flow in the opposite direction until pilot pressure is applied. Working Principle

The Z2S16-30B consists of pilot-operated poppet elements integrated into a modular sandwich plate body.

Free Flow Direction

Hydraulic oil flows freely through:

• A1 → A2
• B1 → B2

The check valve automatically opens when oil flows in the permitted direction.

Reverse Flow Blocking

When oil attempts to flow in the opposite direction:

• The poppet closes tightly against the valve seat.
• Reverse flow is blocked.
• The actuator remains securely locked in position.

Pilot Release Function

When pilot pressure is applied from the opposite hydraulic line:

• The pilot piston actuates the check element.
• The poppet is lifted from its seat.
• Reverse flow is permitted.
• The hydraulic cylinder or motor can move smoothly under control.

This function effectively prevents load drift while allowing controlled actuator movement when required.
