The DBDH6P10-315 relief valve controls hydraulic system pressure through a direct-operated spring-loaded poppet mechanism. System pressure acts directly on the valve poppet. When the pressure exceeds the preset value, the poppet opens against the spring force and redirects excess hydraulic oil from port P to port T, thereby limiting system pressure and protecting hydraulic components from overload.
