  • 101S-5L: Extracts LS pressure signal from LL interface for electrical control system integration.
  • 101S-5E: Draws pressure signal from L or R oil ports via EL interface for electrical control.
  • 101S-5T, 101S-5TE: Tube connection mode, compatible with PVL*, DYXL, or YXL priority valves.
  • 101S-5TE: Elicits L or R oil pressure signal from EL interface for electrical control.
  • 101-5T: Tubular connection requiring DYXL or YXL priority valves, with system safety valve on the priority valve.

🔹 Typical Working Principle

The 101(S)‑5 Series SCU acts as the central steering control element in a hydraulic steering circuit:

  1. Operator Input: When the operator turns the steering wheel or joystick, the SCU spool is displaced.
  2. Flow Priority: Internal priority logic sends required oil flow to the steering actuator.
  3. Feedback / Centering: Mechanical or electronic feedback returns the steering valve to neutral when input is released.
  4. Load Holding: Integrated check and pilot logic maintain steering cylinder positioning when at rest.
  5. Pilot / LS Logic: Optional load‑sense or torque options coordinate flow and pressure demands with the rest of the system.
